Each year, The Princess Royal Training Awards runs a new campaign which requires a refresh of the overarching creative.
With this year's key messaging being around the impact of training and the royal recognition it receives, I decided to emphasise this through iconography. The abstract rose representing the royal element, and the impact characterised by the target. I created a grid pattern that utilised variations of these icons through different colourways. This was then applied to all print and digital media created as a part of the years campaign.
The Princess Royal Training Awards reward and celebrate organisations which see the value and wider organisational benefits of investing in learning and development. The Awards are supported by their President, HRH The Princess Royal, who is a keen advocate of skills development.
The Awards are evidence-based and applications are assessed against a standard of excellence, which are called Hallmarks. This means that organisations don’t compete against each other; instead they need to show that through their exceptional training and development programmes, they are meeting a standard of excellence.
